Retreat Review

Fran and I highly recommend this retreat.  We can't say enough about all of the positive things that we got from this trip.  We loved everything about this trip except that we had to leave.  Thank you Ruth and Harold for providing this wonderful opportunity to enrich our marriage.  We love you guys.  An unforgettable trip with some unforgettable friends.

If I were asked to describe this experience in one word, it would be "excellent".  Everything from the lodging, food, transportation, and group outings was excellent.  The most excellent part was the materials we received as well as the group discussions and the private couple time with Dr. Harold and Ruth.  Whether a couple has a great marriage or needs-some-work-marriage, I highly recommend this biblical based retreat.  If anyone has questions, feel free to reach out to me.

Most of the time we want to control the direction of our lives but in marriage we have to let go of the paddles and let God take us to his destination.  The paddles of Anger, unforgiveness, guilt, shame, not trusting in marriage will always guide me to a place God did not have for me.  I'm trying to let go of the paddles.  Ruth and Harold, thank you for this beautiful photo as a reminder to let go.
